The Friends of the SPCO is the volunteer organization that supports The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra through educational, social and fundraising activities.
The Friends of the SPCO has been supporting The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra for over thirty years.
It was organized in 1977 and incorporated in 1984. Our goal is to be ambassadors for the SPCO and the exciting and intimate world of chamber music.
We work with children in the SPCO’s Start the Music and Xplorchestra programs in neighborhoods throughout the Twin Cities where the SPCO plays.
In addition, the Friends sponsor the CONNECT program, offer Dr. Daniel Freeman’s four-week music lecture series three times a year, host a luncheon for SPCO musicians and staff twice a year, and partner with the Saint Paul Conservatory of Music to sponsor the the Saint Paul Chamber Music Competition for young musicians.
If you are interested in joining us to support the SPCO, we would love to meet you and involve you in our family of activities.
Great Music needs Great Friends!
